Project Title: Temple Quay

Client: Barratt Homes, Bristol

Description: Construction of 400 apartments and the townhouses in 5 seperate blocks near Bristol City Centre

Role: Cost Consultants (based on site)

A range of contemporary townhouses and apartments set in a 'Home Zone'. Our inital task of undertaking a detailed cost plan incorporated:

• accurate cost advice early in the design process
• pricing what was evident from the drawings
• indentifying and pricing aspects not included in the drawings
   

From this firm base we then coordinated a value engineering exercise to derive maximum value from the scheme.  At the client's request we based ourselves on site for the procurement phase of the project.  Works were procured on a trade by trade basis, following the client's strict internal procedures.

The first three blocks are now complete, transforming a once rundown area of Bristol into an exclusive suburb.
